He married kerttu Huverinen where they lived in Brooklyn, New York the family moved to hicksville, long Island. New York with there son, Harri Kervo Jalovaara. They retired in Delray Beach FL unto died at the age of 75. Kerttu dies at the age of 82. Their son, Harri. Died at the age of 79. Their only grandson, Erik, died at the age of 45. Harri and Erik are survived by Rosemary Jalovaara who resides in California
