Ursula Anne was born September 7, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY to Peter and Carmela Anselmo. Ursula was 75 years old.
She was graduated from Bay Ridge High School where she was active in journalism and editor on the Ridge Echo. Because of her excellent grades and her commitment to her religion Ursula attended the Zion Bible Institute, a Bibleible college in Rhode Island. Her husband, Frank Bruno met her in church and within a week, he convinced her to stay in California. She lived with Frank's Aunt Esther and Uncle Armand until they were married a few months later. Ursula spent the majority of her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed entertaining friends and family and was a fabulous cook. She also took up photography and scrap-booking which she liked to do with her daughter Nina. Ursula was a member of St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Poway, CA where she was one of their bible study regulars. Ursula took great joy in being a Prayer Warrior with her St. Bart's grouping sisters every Thursday evening. She was a true believer in the power of prayer. Traveling was one of her favorite hobbies. She joined her friends and family on many memorable trips.
Ursula Bruno of Mamaroneck, Westchester County, NY was born on March 26, 1921, and died at age 74 years old in February 1996.
