My Grandmother was Virginia Dare Jowell Baird. With her and my mother, Mary Elizabeth Murphy/Baird Taylor, we visited Aunt Vivian and her son Lawrence Thomas when I was very little. This would be in the late 1940's and 50's. She was a widow when I knew her. Lawrence Thomas married a nurse and may have had a child with her. We lived in. Houston at that time and moved to Tulsa. When we returned to Houston, we did not got to see the family again. I was unclear about where Aunt Vivian fit into my genealogy. It is possible that she was related to Jack Murphy who was my grandmothers first husband. I also don't know much about him. I believe Aunt Vivian's late husband was named John Loden. Finding her maiden name would be a wonderful start to unravelling her other connections. She and Lawrence Thomas lived in a little house in Jacksonville. I believe he lived behind the original house when he married.

Vivian E Loden of Fulton, Itawamba County, MS was born on October 15, 1908, and died at age 80 years old on March 6, 1989.
