WILLIAM GULLIVER OBITUARY William B. Gulliver TROY - William B. Gulliver, 80, of Troy, passed into eternal rest on Saturday morning at The Samaritan Hospital with his loving family by his side. Bill was born in New York City and was the son of the late Arthur and Josephine Bradley Gulliver and loving husband of Peggy Finn Gulliver of Troy. Bill graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Bill had been a counselor at Conifer Park. He enjoyed watching the NY Yankees, golfing and reading the morning newspaper. He served his country during the Korean conflict in the US Army. He was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Troy. In addition to his wife, Peggy, Bill is also survived by his siblings, Peg Vannah, Michael and Edward Gulliver and Camillia Rudolph. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Bill will be held on Wednesday morning at 8:45 AM at The Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, 336 Third Street, Troy and at 9:30 AM St. Joseph’s Church in Troy where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at the funeral home from 4-7 PM. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Troy.
