William Milhizer was born to Johannes Milhizer (1819-1899) and Christina Katharina Milhizer (1831-1890) and had siblings Johann (1856-1865), Mary Goodermote (1856-1940), Christina Katharina (1859-1865), Daniel (1859-1865), Georg (1861-1865), Adam (1863-1940), and Henry J. (1867-1930). William Milhizer Sr. married Emma Marie Baker Milhizer (1878-1950) in 1901 and had children William August Milhizer Jr (1902-1928), Allen H (born and died in 1904), Gladys Boehringer (1907-1973), Albert Raymond (1909-1999) and Elmer R. Milhizer (born and died in 1904), Gladys (Milhizer) Boehringer (1907-1973), Albert Raymond Milhizer (1909-1999), and Elmer R. Milhizer (1914-2004). William Jr. passed away at age 25 or 26 in Wynantskill New York.
