She married Albert Oliver Box, and died at age 72 years old on January 29, 1962 at Chelsea Hospital in Melbourne, Melbourne City County, VIC Australia. Ada Box was buried at Frankston Memorial Park 63 Cranbourne Rd, in Frankston, Frankston City County.

Previously thought to be "useless" land - not even good for farming - the tribe had bought the land themselves.
