    Adam C. Sprang, age 24, of rural Valders, died early Sunday morning., September 19, 1999, at holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 22, 1999, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Reedsville. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Reverend Thomas Long. Burial will be at Knollwood Cemetery, Town of Kossuth. Adam was born on October 18, 1974 at Manitowoc, the son of Susan Sprang Bodart. He attended Reedsville Public Schools and was currently employed by Spancrete Inc., Valders. Survivors include his mother, Susan Bodart, R. Valders; his stepfather, Clarence Bodartl, R. Valders; one brother, Craig Sprang and his fiancée Sheila Loose, Manitowoc; one step-brother, Brian Bodart, School Hill; his grandparents and Godfather, Herman and Vivian Sprang, Reedsville; his Godmother and aunt, Mary Sprang, Whitelaw; aunts and uncles, Elizabeth and Michael Williams, Manitowoc, Gloria and Howard Krummel, Whitelaw; Nancy and Daryle Zutz, Collins; Ellen and Larry Dietrich, Reedsville; Annette Wuellner, Reedsville; Herman Jr. and Jennifer Sprang, Collins: Pam and Paul Zahorik, Reedsville; and Carment and Brett Davis, Reedsville; step-grandparents, Harold and Mabel Bodart, Reedsville; step aunts and uncles, Emily and Paul Gehrig, Whitelaw; Joe and Diane Diane Bodart, Clarks Mills; Mary and Bill Schweitzer, Amhurst, Wisconsin; Lorraine and Wesley Wehausen, Cato; Barb and Jim Hayes, Reedsville; Mike and Debbie Bodart, Manitowoc; Lisa and Rick Beimborn, Cato. He is further survived by many cousins, other relatives, and many friends. Friends may call at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Reedsville, on Wednesday, September 22, 1999, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. The Christianson-Deja Funeral Home of Valders is assisting the family of funeral arrangements. Adam enjoyed snowmobiling, off-road biking, hunting and fishing. Adam will be sadly missed by us all. Accident in Manitowoc County claims one life

A 24 year old man died early Sunday after his motorcycle left the roadway in Manitowoc County, authorities said. Adam Sprang died at a local hospital early Sunday of massive skull fractures, Manitowoc County Coroner Deb Kakatsch said.

Sprang's motorcycle left the roadway on County JJ and Middle Road, authorities said. Alcohol may have contributed to the accident, according to Kakatsch.
