Adam Bartling had siblings Alice May Bartling Link, Violet Irene Bartling, Ethel Eleanor Bartling, Ivy Bartling, Ernest Albert Bartling, Ernest August Bartling, Oscar Bartling, and Charles Bartling. He married Mary Veronica Walsh in 1908. They had children Edward Walter Bartling and Ilma Margaret Lorraine Bartling. He also married Clarice Mary Ryan in 1925. Adam Bartling died at age 87 years old on April 1, 1970 in Pascoe Vale South.
