She was born Adelaide Emma Goodhind, the daughter of Richard Goodhind and Jane Harrison who were married in both a R.C. and a Protestant church in Liverpool England. The mother a widow took her 3 daughters and 1 son to Victoria Australia. Adelaide's first husband was a Mr.Bridgmont and her second was John Henry Staurenghi.

Adelaide Emma (Goodhind) Bridgmont of Ewick Australia was born in 1856 to Richard Goodhind and Jane Harrison Goodhind. She had siblings Richard Markham Goodhind and Rose Jane Goodhind. Adelaide Bridgmont died at age 75 years old in 1931 in Ewick.
