Aerin was the type of person that you couldn't help but smile when you spoke with her. People say this all the time, that a person "lit up the room." With Aerin it literally seemed to happen, like wherever she was it really did seem to be a brighter, happier place. She was an incredible individual. Crazy intelligent - Aerin could identify a problem, come up with a solution & implement that fix before most folks could figure out an issue existed. She was a whirlwind, a buzz of activity, and it was easy to get swept up in the beautiful hurricane that was Aerin Michelle Brock. She had her share of problems, as we all do, and Aerin wrestled with her demons on a nearly daily basis. When things were going well, she could make you feel like you were the most important person on Earth. When she was having a bad day, it was best to just stay out of her way. There was no such thing as winning an argument with her. She was right, and she made no bones about letting you know just how wrong you were. Her compassion, intelligence, beauty and zest for life far outweighed her faults, and anyone lucky enough to know her was a better person for it. Aerin could talk you into a cross-country road trip, and before you could come up with a valid reason to not go, the vehicle would be packed, she'd have a big goofy grin on her face and she'd be saying "Alright, let's go!" Whatever she decided to do, once she set her mind to task, there was no doubt she would succeed. Aerin was just that rare type of individual that made the world a better place to live in. She was an absolute diamond, and my God! how she could shine.

Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, Aerin frequently moved once she became a traveling nurse. She resided in Owensboro, KY, Warwick, RI, Massachusetts, New York, Arizona and Santa Barbara, CA.

Aerin graduated high school in 1993 and went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree in nursing in 1998. She became licensed to practice nursing in Missouri in 1999.

Aerin was Catholic, and while not particularly religious, she was very spiritual. She believed every day was a gift from God, not to be wasted.

RN, BSN. Aerin was a traveling nurse who literally worked from coast to coast. She began her career in the emergency room at Owensboro Mercy Hospital in Owensboro, KY. She absolutely loved being a nurse, and was outstanding at her job. She was the epitome of grace under pressure, and it showed where she loved to work - the emergency room. Any other nursing job was boring by comparison, and she didn't want to be anywhere else but smack-dab in the middle of the action. Aerin did everything at 100 MPH, but she also did it right. She wanted to be the person who literally was responsible in life or death situations, and when most people were in the ER because they were experiencing their worst of days, Aerin was their having her best days. All she ever wanted to be was an emergency room registered nurse, and through hard work and dedication, Aerin transformed her dream into her reality.
