She had siblings Harriet Maria Macartney, Georgiana Maude Mccartney, Edward Hussey Burgh Mcartney, Jane Catherine Mcartney, James Moore Mcartney, Charles Perry Macartney, Anne Constance Mcartney, and Charlotte Mary Macartney. She married Peter Corsar Anderson in 1899, and had children Peter Corsar Anderson, Jean Louden Anderson, Catherine Helen Anderson, Mark Peter Anderson, and Charles David Anderson. Agnes Anderson died at age 86 years old on January 8, 1961 in Swanbourne, WA.
