Agnes Jervies of Hamilton, Southern Grampians Shire County, VIC Australia was born on August 14, 1895 in Woorndoo to William Charles James Jervies and Margaret Holdsworth Jervies. She had siblings Mary Ann Jervis Filippe, Jessie Jervies Blake, Margaret "Maggie" Jervies, Millicent 'Milly' Jervies, Robert Jervies, Hannah Jervies Clingan, William James Jervies, John Henry "Jack" Jervies, Samuel Jervies, Charles Jervies, Stanley Jervies, and Thomas Mcquillan Jervies. She married Percy Edward Wilson in 1917, and had a child Claude Wilson. Agnes Jervies died at age 94 years old on May 18, 1990 in Hamilton.

In 1895, in the year that Agnes Jervies was born, on March 15th, in County Tipperary, Ireland, Michael Cleary killed his wife of 8 years, Bridget, and burned her body. His defense was that his "wife" was a changeling that was left in his real wife's place when she was abducted by fairies. He was nonetheless convicted and imprisoned for manslaughter. He spent 15 years in prison.

In 1915, by the time she was 20 years old, the Superior Court in Fulton County Georgia accepted the charter for the establishment of the new Ku Klux Klan, succeeding the Klan that flourished in the South in the late 1800's.
