She was mother to six children and passed away on December 29, 1960 in Lincoln County, West Virginia, United States of America. His father George was born on March 17, 1878 in West Virginia and grew up in Sheridan, Lincoln, West Virginia, USA. He lived there with his wife and children and worked as a farm laborer. He passed away on March 29, 1930 in Branchland, Lincoln, West Virginia, USA.

Albert L. Hatfield, 82, of St. Albans, died Friday, April 13, 2001, at Valley Health Care Village, South Charleston. He was a member of Mildred Baptist Church, Branchland, W.Va. He was a former truck driver for McLean Trucking, a member of Teamsters Local No. 175, and an Army veteran. Surviving are: his wife, Vada "Peggy" Hatfield; stepson, Robert Bias of Port Lavaca, Texas; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
