Alexander Sidney Volling was born in 1908 to Alexander Volling and Julia Rose (Gillett) Volling, and had siblings Alfred Edward Volling, George Frederick Volling, Ellaveen Joyce (Volling) Knight, Doreen Mavis (Volling) Myler, Kathleen Rose Volling, Neville Leo Volling, Josephine Rogan, Brian Morris Volling, and Sylvia Clare Volling. He married Adeline Adele Volling, and had a child Ross Alexander Volling. Alexander Volling died at age 69 years old on July 23, 1978, and was buried at Maryborough Garden of Rest Lawn Cemetery in Maryborough West, Fraser Coast Regional County, QLD Australia.
