Alfred Earl Findlay was born on June 5, 1889 in Tuscola County, Michigan United States to William James Findlay and Gertrude Morr Towns, and had siblings Wheeler Andrew Findlay, Lester Allen Findlay, Emma Belle Findlay, and David Leo Findlay. He married Mary Ann Kusek, and they had children Robert William Findlay, Raymond Alfred Findlay, Donald Martin Findlay, Edward Harold Findlay, Gerald Lee Findlay, and Thomas M Findlay. He also married Linnie Mae Avery, and they had children Evelyn Marie Findlay, Erma Lucille Findlay, Alfred Avery Findlay, and Maxine Beryle Findlay. Alfred Findlay died at age 53 years old on March 17, 1943 in Caro, and was buried on March 19, 1943 at Indian Fields Township Cemetery in Caro.
