He married Ethel Shepherd Randall, and had children James Alfred Randall, Rose Amelia Randall, Evelyn Louisa Randall, and Beatrice Irene Randall. Alfred Randall died at age 71 years old on September 30, 1939 in Albert Park, Port Phillip City County.
