The couple resided in Brewer, Maine and raised their children; Richard Allen Naugler, Trenna Naugler, and Stephen Naugler there. Naugler was an Army veteran of World War II. He was in service from March 27, 1945 until his discharge on April 29, 1946. On October 9, 1995 in Syracuse, Indiana, Allen Naugler passed away.

Allan J. Naugler July 8, 1917-Oct. 9, 1995

SYRACUSE - Allan J. Naugler, 78, of 9969 American Way, died at 8:02 a.m. Monday in his home. Mr. Nau-gler retired in 1991 as owner/operator of Naugler-Titus Saw Mill, Wolf Lake.

He was born July 8, 1917, in Brewer, Maine, and had lived in the Syracuse area since 1991, coming from Wolf Lake. On May 4, 1940, in Bangor, Maine, he married Eleanor Skillins.
She survives with a daughter, Trenna Titus of Cromwell; a son, Stephen of Cromwell; eight grandchildren; a sister, Marguerite Marotheze Bari co, Maine: and a brother, Ramsey, N.J. A son preceded him in death.

Mr. Naugler was a member of Wolf Lake United Methodist Church, the Gideons International, Noble County Camp, St. Andrew's Masonic Lodge 83, Bangor, Scottish Rite Fort Wayne Valley, Fort Wayne Mizpah Temple and Holiday SoJourners, Seminole, Fla. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Orr Funeral Home, Ligonier. Burial will be in Wolf Lake Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
