Alta Fay (Riddles) Pearce of Artesia, Eddy County, New Mexico United States was born on February 14, 1930 at Home in Ryan, Jefferson County, OK to William Ashley Riddles and Ella Grace (McGregor) Riddles. She had siblings Jack Riddles and Ramona Ruth (Riddles) Armstrong. She married Billy Buck Stone in 1946 and they later divorced in 1960. She had children Pamela Elaine (Stone) Evans and Janice Ruth (Stone) Alexander. Alta Pearce died at age 76 years old on October 18, 2006 at Artesia, NM, and was buried on October 20, 2006 in Ryan.

After divorcing in 1975 she eventually moved to the Dallas area where she worked in the corporate offices of Aladdin. She retired in 1992, moved to Artesia, NM and remarried.

This is a name I am not familiar with. My mother Evelyn DeLois was born to Nolan White Pearce and Lela Bertha Barron Pearce in 1936 the month before her mother died from TB. She was adopted by her mother's brother JB Barron and his wife Ida Josie Belknap Barron. My mother knew her real dad and all her siblings. She never knew any of the Pearce family beyond them. She did know of two Pearces that were twins. Their names were Harmon and Norman Pearce. If you have any info about these Pearces please let me know. I have a page that I set up on MyHeritage.com under the name Jouglard Russell Family. I also have a page on there for the Pearce Family, so that I can find more of her Pearce relatives.
