She married Glenn Monroe Barker on July 13, 1933 in Pittsylvania County, and they were married until Amanda's death on November 1, 1982 in Galax. Amanda Barker had children Edward Glenn Barker and Dorothy Jean (Barker) Kaesemeyer.
