Amanda immigrated to the US from Gothenburg, Sweden, aboard the ship "Kungsholm," arriving in New York, New York, USA, on November 19, 1924. During the late 1920s, Amanda lived in Jamestown Ward 5, Chautauqua, New York, with her husband, daughter, and mother-in-law. She was 5 feet 6 inches tall, with fair skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes, typical of Swedish women. Amanda Regina Wellström passed away on March 14, 1966, in New York.
