Amelia Louise (Mcintosh) Corrigan 1881 - 1953

Amelia Louise (Mcintosh) Corrigan of Hcote Australia was born in 1881 in Heathcote, Greater Bendigo City County, VIC to George Mcintosh and Elizabeth (Parker) Mcintosh. She had siblings Frederick George Mcintosh, Eveline Edith Mcintosh, Donald Mcintosh, William James Mcintosh, William John Mcintosh, Charles Thomas Mcintosh, Frederick George Mcintosh, Albert Mcintosh, Robert Mcintosh, and Louisa Mcintosh. She married Thomas John Corrigan in 1906, and had children Thomas Joseph Corrigan and Donald Bernard Corrigan. Amelia Corrigan died at age 71 years old on June 9, 1953 in South Yarra.

In 1881, in the year that Amelia Louise (Mcintosh) Corrigan was born, on October 26th, the "Gunfight at the O.K. Corral" happened in Tombstone, Arizona. The gunfight lasted only 30 seconds - the Earps and Doc Holliday on one side and the "Cowboys" on the other side. The McLaury brothers and Billy Clanton of the Cowboys were killed. Two of the Earp brothers and Doc Holliday were wounded.
