    Lake Charles American Press: Jennings -- Funeral services for Mrs. Amy F. Simar, 81, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 24, from Our Lady of Help Christians Church. Rev. Vincent Sedita will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Matthews and Son Funeral Home. Visitation is from 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m. today, and from 8 a.m. Friday. Mrs. Simar died at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 1998, in a local hospital. A native of Eunice, she was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Ladies Altar Society, Pink Ladies Auxiliary, Ladies Home Demonstration, and Our Lady of Help Christians Choir. Survivors include three sons, Charles Simar of Sugar Land, Texas, Michael Simar of Jennings, and Mark Simar of Duson; four daughters, Mrs. John (Yvonne) Dewey of Lake Jackson, Texas, Mrs. George (Polly) Bonin, and Mrs. Mary Margaret Sonnier, both of Jennings, and Kathleen Simar of St. Louis, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
