Andy Drumm was the owner of Silver State Construction Co., a road building firm in Fallon Nevada. They built innumerable highways as well as paving airports and more. Andy loved fast planes and fast cars. His father also liked fast cars. In 1951 Andy became enamored with the new Chrysler Hemi engines and created a relationship withe Bill Harrah, gaming magnate, who also was owner of Hermann & Wilson Chrysler dealership in Reno, Nevada. Andy purchased numerous Chrysler cars for himself and probably Dodge trucks for his company. He raced Harrah in his Ferrari on public roads. Arguably Andy's best publicly known car was his black 1960 Chrysler 300F Special Gran Turismo. When received at the dealership it had trunk lid damage and Andy with grandson Mitch drove the car home with a "temporary replacement white lid from a New Yorker. It became the trademark as "there goes Andy" was obvious by the white lid on the black car.
