Andrew Raymond Slobom of Richmond Australia was born in 1908 in Essendon to Andrew Henry Slobom and Ellen (Sterling) Slobom. He had siblings Elaine Sara Slobom, Jeffrey Richard Slobom, Graham Sterling Slobom, and Molly Sterling Slobom. Andrew Slobom married Eresley Hamilton Smith in 1937, and died at age 70 years old in 1978 in Richmond.
