Aniela (Sobon) Tabisz was born on August 10, 1891 in Poland, and died at age 31 years old on February 26, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois United States. Aniela Tabisz was buried on February 26, 1923 at Ressurection Cemetary, in Justice, Cook County.
I don't know a whole lot about her. I did hear from someone who knew her when they were little and they said they remember her being a very nice lady. She married my great grandfather Stanley Tabisz on April 20, 1913. She had four children all together-one was stillborn Wladyslaw in 1915 and one passed away at the age of two Bronislaw from gastroenteritis. Nellie also had my grandma Bernice (Bronislawa) and Ted (Thaddeus). She passed away at the age of 32 from tuberculosis which she had for about four months according to her death certificate. My grandmother remembered that she was wearing pink (burial) slippers at her wakes which was held at the house. My grandma was eight, and Ted was six when she passed away. She is buried at Ressurection Cemetary in Justice, Il.

This was taken probably for my grandma's first birthday in 1917. In the photo is Aniela, Stanley, grandma Bernice and I can only assume Nellies BFF as she is in another photo in 1908 and is her bridesmaid in 1913. Not sure if it is one of Stanley's sisters or not.

Before she was married, my great grandma on the right took this photo with two friends or relatives. Taken in approx. 1908. I can see her liking the idea of getting a picture taken because she and the other lady have the same dress on. The other gal doesn't seem to see the humor in it, but Nellie does as she is rockin' that dress with her tiny waist, a modern hairdo-which no doubt supported a very large hat, a ladies pocket watch on a chain and high button boots. A sassy hand on the hip and a slight smile complete the ensemble.
