  • Introduction

    Anna Van Gorder was the daughter of James Hayes and Elizabeth Stewart Van Gorder. She married Aaron French. They had 12 children: Clara Latham, Flora Belle, John Logan, Harold Glenn, Lulu Evelyn, Elizabeth Viola, Maude Agatha, Olive V., twins William Sherman and Sheridan, Vesta Minerva, and Robert Herbert. According to her death certificate she is buried at Hickory Knoll, Ellwood City. Aaron’s obituary states he is buried at Church of God Cemetery. After researching Cemeteries of Beaver County I found that the spelling is not Hickory Knoll but Hickorynell and that it was previously Church of God.
