    New Castle News August 25, 1958 Mrs Olive V Turk, 78, of 308 Hazelcroft Ave, wife of Charles F Turk, died in the Jameson Memorial Hospital at 3:15 am today after a five week illness..She had resided in New Castle for 50 years. Born in Perry Twp, Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Aaron and Anna Van Gorder French. She was a member of Third UP Church for 25 years. She was one of 12 children. In addition to her husband, she leaves two daughters; Mrs Ralph (Helen) Pence; New Castle, Mrs SC (Geraldine) Ely, Akron; one son, C.J. Turk, New Kensington; two sisters, Mrs James Rapp, Wurtemburg; Mrs Claude Allen, Akron; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 am from the Joseph B Leyde Mortuary, Highland at Winter, with Dr F.V. Clements in charge. Internment will be at Castle View Burial Park. Friends may call at the mortuary on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
