2nd body identified in double shooting
CECIL COUNTY
ELKTON - A state medical examiner has identified the second of two bodies found in an apartment Sunday after what state police are calling a murder-suicide.
Difficulty in finding dental records delayed the identification of Todd H. Rice, 26, said Sgt. Michael Cole of the North East barracks.
Investigators found Mr. Rice and his pregnant girlfriend Annette M. Sigler, 27, after they were called by his father, Sgt. Cole said.
The sergeant said both victims had been shot in the head and that police found a shotgun near the bodies.
Mr. Rice and Ms. Sigler recently rented the apartment, which is in the 900 block of Stonegate Blvd., about a mile east of Interstate 95 off Route 279, police said.
