Arnold Appleyard had siblings Maurice James Appleyard, Veronica Ella Appleyard, and Alfred Henry Appleyard. He married Phyllis Jean Roussac in 1935. He would also marry Inez Beryl Spicer in 1942. Arnold Appleyard died at age 46 years old on October 17, 1954 in Box Hill, Whitehorse City County.
