*Art's variety TV show called "Twilight Time" aired on TCI cable for 2 years 1996-1998. The show gathered a huge legion of fans and was recognized as the moat successful Leased Access television show in all of TCI cable broadcast area.

** Arts band "Happy Daze" was one if the most popular club bands in the NY Tri State area in the late 70's to the mid 80's and were asked to be the hoise band for The. Royal New York Doo Wopp Sbow at Radio City Music Hall and made a record setting 13 consecutive shows there. Happy Daze also recorded a 45 record "So Young"/"She Makes Love to Me" in 1982 on Dazzle Records. The song broke the top 10 in York, PA, Erie.PA, and Hershey PA.

Art has the distinction of singing with both The Belmonts and the Del Satins. The group.at first was Dion.& Belmonts. When Dion left the group after only 2 years of being together to be a solo artist, it was the Del-Satins who backed up Dion on all his smash hits. And The Belmonts went on to have a bery successful career, but nowhere near the initial success they had with Dion.

The Doo.Wop.All.Stars are considered by many in the industry to be one of the most dynamic vocal groups on the market today.

In 1949, in the year that Arrhur Loria was born, on April 4th, NATO (the North Atlantic Treaty Organization) was established. Twelve nations originally signed the North Atlantic Treaty - the United States, Great Britain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Iceland, Canada, and Portugal. Greece, Turkey, and West Germany later joined. Today, there are 26 nations in NATO.

In 1952, by the time he was merely 3 years old, on July 2, Dr. Jonas E. Salk tested the first dead-virus polio vaccine on 43 children. The worst epidemic of polio had broken out that year - in the U.S. there were 58,000 cases reported. Of these, 3,145 people had died and 21,269 were left with mild to disabling paralysis.

In 1966, when he was 17 years old, on July 1st, Medicare became available after President Johnson signed into law the Medicare Act in 1965. President Truman had received the first Medicare card since he had been the first to propose national healthcare law. insurance.

In 1975, when he was 26 years old, on September 5th, Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme tried to assassinate President Ford in Sacramento, California. She failed when her gun wouldn't fire. President Ford escaped a second assassination attempt 17 days later on September 22 when Sarah Jane Moore tried to shoot him in San Francisco. A bystander saw her raise her arm, grabbed it, and the shot went wild.

In 1993, Arthur was 44 years old when on February 26th, a truck bomb exploded in the garage under the North Tower of the World Trade Center. While the bomb didn't do what was planned (collapse the North Tower into the South Tower), it did kill six people and injured thousands of people.
