ARTHUR J. PETITO, 56, of Tinton Falls, died yesterday at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was the owner of Pool World, Middletown. He served in the Navy. Born in Newark, he lived in Nutley before moving to Tinton Falls 12 years ago. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur J. Sr. and Ruth E. Petito. Surviving are his wife, Helene Newman Petito; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Ina Petito of Jackson, and Matthew and Joy Petito of Eatontown; a sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Tom Crowley of South Coventry, Pennsylvania; and a nice, Christina Crowley of Great Mills, Maryland. Visitation is at 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Braun Funeral Home, 106 Broad Street, Eatontown. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Shiva will be observed by his wife at the family residence in Tinton Falls beginning on Saturday evening and continuing Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. - Asbury Park Press (Asbury Park, New Jersey) Friday, July 16, 1999 on page 12.
