Benedetto Carroccio is the son of Benedetto Carroccio and Danizzia Srdoč. He had siblings Marianna, Cirino, and John Joseph Carroccio. His mother Danizzia was born on November 24, 1896 in Srdoči, Rijeka, Croatia and departed from Trieste, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy on May 10, 1920 and arrived in New York, NY on June 1 1920 aboard the S.S. Susquehanna. She lived in Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Ohio, USA and passed away there on February 17, 1968. His father Benedetto Sr was born on April 16, 1897 in San Fratello, Messina, Sicilia, Italy and immigrated to the states sometime before 1922. He passed away on May 10, 1954.
