Benjamin August Kensing was born on July 6, 1891 to Mathilde (Lemburg) Kensing and Friedrich Christop Heinrich Kensing, and had siblings Alfred William Kensing, Auguste Bertha (Kensing) Donop, Emma Wilhelmina (Kensing) Metzger, Marichen (Kensing) Worley, and Thekla Clara (Kensing) King. Benjamin Kensing died at age 34 years old on March 3, 1926.
