Benjamin Barrow died at age 68 years old on January 10, 2011 at Tansey Ln, in Crestview, Okaloosa County, FL.

    Ben D. Barrow, Sr., age 68, of Crestview, passed away early Monday, January 10, 2011, at his home in the presence of his loving family. He was born August 25, 1942, in Grand Saline, Texas. After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, Ben worked in Civil Service and for the James Lee Auto Dealership as a master mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Evangeline Barrow; four sons, Ben Barrow, Jr., Barry Don Barrow, William Calvin O'Keefe (nee: Billy Don Barrow) and Alton Brady Hires; a daughter, Sandra Renee Hires Reeves; two sisters, Louise Hart and Shirley Barrow; and three grandchildren, Stephanie Barrow, Conner Barrow and Russell O'Keefe. Funeral Services will take place at 11 AM Saturday, January 15, 2011, at the chapel of Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview, with Chaplain Mark Mashburn officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Liveoak Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 AM until commencement of services. Arrangements are entrusted to Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview. Guest book and condolences are available online at www.whitehurstpowellfuneralhome.com.
