Benjamin G. Ames of CT was born in 1815 in Waterford, New London County. He was the parent of Benjamin Franklin Ames. He was the parent of Richard Lyman Ames. He married Julia Daniels, and they had children Julia A. Ames and Ebenezer Ames. Benjamin Ames died at age 47 years old on January 6, 1863 in New Orleans, Orleans Parish County, LA.

Introduction

Benjamin G. Ames was born in Waterford, CT. He married Julia Daniels and they had 3 sons and 1 daughter. He was a farmer in Hebron CT when he enlisted as a soldier in the United States Civil War. He died January 6, 1863 in New Orleans, LA of typhoid fever. He was buried in Cypress Grove cemetery and later moved to Chalmette National cemetery.

I have a lot of information about Benjamin G. Ames' son, Ebenezer's descendants, however I have been unable to locate any information about Benjamin G. Ames' ancestors. I would appreciate any available help with this information.
