2 Memories, Stories & Photos about Bethany

It was late August 1980. I was in Salem, Oregon, for the summer, selling children's books to pay for college (BYU). My friend and I went on a double date with Janda and her friend whom we met at the local LDS ward. I took Janda out again one time before I went back to Utah. During that second date, Janda told me she had MS. I didn't really understand what that was, so she explained a little. I felt really sad for her. I called her again when I was back at school and we talked about relationships etc. I want her to be remembered as a wonderfully sweet and compassionate person. We lost contact after that, but I won't forget her, and I wish the best for her family.
