    Betty Jean (Strickland) West was born on January 10th, 1928 - according to her headstone and 1929 according to social security records - in Oklahoma to Hershel Scott Strickland (1906 - 1976) and Mary Leona Dennis (1908 - 1933) and she had siblings Theresa, Jimmy "JT" and Arzula "Zuke". Betty Jean Strickland, who was 19, married Bernard Clough, who was 22, in 1947 in Illinois. Betty Jean (now Clough) also married Melvin Lee West in August of 1948 in Illinois. Betty and Melving then divorced in October of 1964. Betty Jean West, who was age 37 and divorced, married Paul E. Tedford, who was 38 and also divorced, in January of 1965 in Rawlins, Wyoming. Betty is my beautiful Grandma. She raised me since I was 4 days old. She had a very rough life but she never gave up. She was so strong and beautiful. I love you Grandma. I’m sorry for everything I put you through. God willing, I’ll see you again in Heaven. I love you ♥️🌹♥️🌹♥️🌹♥️🌹
