My Dad Bill Hale Played on the local radio stations in and around Knoxville, Tennessee area in the mid 1940's. I never got to hear my Dad play, but I've heard from others that he was quite good and had the looks and talent to go places, but like so many other great muscians out there, he just never got that big break. I would like to hear from anyone out there that remembers my Dad or who might have some of his recordings from back then. I would also like to hear from Floyd Downs or any of his family members.
