She had siblings Caroline Maria (Bolger) Chambers, Henry William Bolger, James Lawrence Bolger, and Ernest Maltravers Bolger. She married Thomas Rigby in 1875, and had children Nellie Blanche Cathie, Raby Harriet Rigby, and Olive Frances Rigby. Blanche Evelyn Rigby died at age 66 years old in 1917 in Terang.
