    Brian Robert Hanson, 16, of Fergus Falls, died Friday, Oct. 13, 2000, as a result of a hunting accident. He was born on Aug. 17, 1984, at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls, the son of Robert Hanson and Patricia Hanson. He was baptized on Sept. 17, 1984, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Almora. He was a sophomore at Fergus Falls Senior High School and attended Life Time Learning Center in Fergus Falls. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls, where he was confirmed on Oct. 1 of this year. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being in the outdoors. He loved having a puppy, driving tractor, and showing all his hunting prizes. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Ray and JoAnn Hanson, and Edwin "Bud" Wilke. Survivors include his parents, Patricia (Kip) Hanson of Fergus Falls and Robert (Evon) Hanson of Parkers Prairie; a sister, Alisha Hanson of Fergus Falls; a brother, Blake Hanson of Fergus Falls; two step-sisters, Holly Kreidler of Parkers Prairie and Tricia Hanson of Woodstock, Ontario; two step-brothers, Dan Kriedler of Parkers Prairie and Derek Hanson of Woodstock; his grandparents, Gisela Tervola of Fergus Falls, Richard Tervola of Deer Creek and Andrine Wilke of Miltona; a Great-Grandma Venzke of Henning; Great-Grandpa Hanson; his aunts and uncles, Ilona Tervola, Marlys and Durant Thoen and their children, Durant Jr. and David; Mindy Tervola; Deb and Tom Watson; Dale and Nora Wilke; Patti and Dean Neiman; Linda and Greg Koep; David Hanson; Al Wilke; Lynn and Lyle Freudenberg; and Alan and Julie Hanson; and many cousins.
