Carmen Mamie (Bezaury) Pontius was born on March 9th, 1924 in Muskegon, Michigan, to Salvadore Bezaury and Mary Gould. Carmen Bezaury married Harold L. Serier on November 23rd, 1940 in the state of Michigan. Carmen Serier married William P Reid Jr. on August 29th, 1942 in Missouri and they divorced on January 14th, 1949 in Michigan. They had a son, William Penn Reid who was born prematurely and died on February 8th, 1943, as well as three living children when they divorced. Carmen M. Reid then married Jack Pontius in 1956 in St. Joseph, Indiana. They lived in Muskegon County, Michigan. Carmen M. Pontius died at the age of 72 in Muskegon County, Michigan and is buried in Twin Lake Cemetery Twin Lake, Muskegon County, Michigan.
