Caroline Lavinia (Cave) O'Grady 1879 - 1953
Caroline Lavinia (Cave) O'grady was born in 1879 to Thomas Leigh Cave Snr and Ferdinan (Brodley) Cave, and had siblings Christina "Julia" Ann (Cave) Carter, Charles Thomas Leigh Cave, Samuel Brodley Cave, Francis James Cave, Ella Ethel Aubury (Cave) Board, Annie Maria (Cave) Murray, Thomas Leigh Cave Jnr, and Malcolm Canmore Cave. She was in a relationship with Patrick John O'Grady, and had children Aileen Mary (O'Grady) Paul, Julia O'Grady, John O'Grady, William O'Grady, Mary O'Grady., Catherine O'Grady, and Kitty O'Grady. Caroline O'grady died at age 73 years old on August 3, 1953 in Parkville, VIC Australia, and was buried at Ferntree Gully Cemetery in Ferntree Gully, Knox City County.

The Ballarat Star, January 1894. SOCIAL NOTES. A wedding took place at St. Patrick's Cathedral on Wednesday last, the contracting parties being Mr. J. O'Grady, a popular employ'e at the General Post Office, Ballarat, and Miss Carrie Cave, sister-in-law of Mr. Carter, of Carter and Werner, and lately employed at the firm's establishment in Lydiard street. The wedding ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father O'Dowd, the bridesmaids being Miss Short and Miss Lillie O'Grady, while Messrs M. Kennedy and F. Cave were the bridegroom's assistants.
