    Gaffney Ledger obituary October 16, 2015 Carolyn Graham Campbell, 75, of 134 Macedonia Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Loris, SC, she was the wife of Johnny Clay Campbell and was raised in the home of the late Coley and Minnie Graham. She was the retired owner/operator of Curtis Mathes, later Tyler Home Center, and was a very active member of Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church where she was a member of the Lanette Abernathy Circle and served on numerous committees. She was a member of the Cherokee County Republican Party, was an avid reader, and loved to host parties and travel. She was a Southern lady who exhibited class and charm to those around her. Her love for life was shown through her contagious smile and her encouragement of others. Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Shannon Tyler and wife, Stephanie, of Gaffney; a brother, Bonnie Joe Graham and wife, Nancy, of Baltimore, Md.; two sisters, Patsy Strickland and husband, Jack, of Pauline and Sherry Sherlock and husband, Jimmy, of Forsythe, Ga.; five grandchildren, Elyse Kearns and husband, Justin, Callee Brooks Cloud and husband, David, Kristin Tyler, Geoffrey Tyler and Megan Tyler; two step-grandchildren, Joshua Yonkoske and Kristen Yonkoske; one great-grandchild, William Cloud; five step-great-grandchildren, Mason Finch, Peyton Finch, Skylon Finch, Hailee Yonkoske and Jaxon Yonkoske. She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Tyler, a granddaughter, Abby Tyler, a brother, Bob Graham, and a sister, Jackie Hamrick. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church with Dr. Clyde Thomas and Rev. Stuart A. Kersey officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to: Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1449, Gaffney, S.C. 29342 or Hope Remains Youth Ranch, P.O. Box 160782, Boiling Springs, S.C. 29316. The family will be at the residence, 134 Macedonia Road, Gaffney.
