Catherine Avery MacPherson 1871 - 1942

Catherine (Avery) MacPherson of Alberton, Wellington Shire County, VIC Australia was born on May 23, 1871 in Port Albert to John Avery and Mary Ann "Annie" (Sandy) Avery. She had siblings Elizabeth Avery Neil, William Avery, Joseph Sandy Avery, Mary Ann "Annie" Avery, Grace Christina (Avery) Robinson, Henry Avery, John Avery, James Avery, Edward Forman Avery, and George Charles Avery. She married Gordon Urquhart Greville MacPherson in 1896, and had children Olive Ann Mcpherson, Norman John Mcpherson, Harry Urquhart Macpherson, Marjorie Susan Mcpherson, Alison Grace Mcpherson, Edward Gordon Macpherson, and Allister Douglas Macpherson. Catherine MacPherson died at age 70 years old on May 22, 1942 in Gelliondale, and was buried at Alberton Cemetery 214 Yarram-Port Albert Rd, in Alberton.
