Catherine Maud (Mathieson) Dight of Australia was born in 1885 to Alexander Mathieson and Mary Ann (Murphy) Mathieson. She had siblings Ada Mary Matheson, Francis Edward Matheson, Ernest Arthur Matheson, Leonard Victor Matheson, Mary May Woods, May Lucy Ryan, Catherine Ann Mcguiness, and Ernest Arthur Mathieson. Catherine Dight married Thomas John Dight, and died at age 77 years old in 1962.
