Introduction

Cecil Rudolf Menifield's father was Alonzo Menifield (1898 - 1967) and his mother was Altonia Cochran (1895 - 1967). He had sibling Jessie Menifield Rattley 91929 - 2001) and an unnamed sister. When he was 18, Cecil was living with his father in Fairfield, Alabama, and was a student. He was 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighed 170 pounds. He had black eyes, back hair, and a "light brown" complexion. He also had a scar on the back of his left wrist. Cecil married twice, having two children in the first marriage and one in the second marriage. On December 22, 1950, he married Nan McGregor in Jefferson Alabama. They divorced in 1954. He was a veteran of World War II.
