Charles Andrew Walker 1885 - 1949

Charles Andrew Walker of Ivanhoe, City of Banyule County, VIC Australia was born in 1885 to Andrew Walker and Mary Eliza (Lewis) Walker. He had siblings Annie Emslie Walker, Alfred Gilbert Walker, and Frank Lewis Walker. He married Ella Constance (Sutherland) Walker in 1912, and had children Constance Alvie Walker, Mary Walker, Jean Willis Walker, and Mary Walker. Charles Walker died at age 64 years old in 1949 in Ivanhoe.

Boyce was so impressed that he incorporated the Boy Scouts of America when he returned home. Its purpose was "to teach boys patriotism, courage, self-reliance, and kindred values."
