Charles Bentley Craighead

I have an old studio photograph of Charles CRAIGHEAD which was taken at the P. E. Chillman Studio in Philadelphia, PA. Charles appears to be about 1 year old at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Charles and his family:

Charles Bentley CRAIGHEAD was b. 11 Nov 1886 in Pennsylvania to parents Charles B. CRAIGHEAD (1861-1887) and Margaret “Maggie” PIERCE (1863-1939). Charles Jr. appears to have been their only child. Charles Jr. did not marry and was working as a bartender in 1909 and living in Indianapolis, IN and later as a traveling salesman living in the Williams Hotel in Indianapolis, IN when he registered for the draft in 1917. Charles Jr. died 14 Oct 1919 in Collier, PA.

Charles Sr. was b. 1860 to parents Andrew CRAIGHEAD (1830-1900) and Sara J. DRENNEN (1836-1905). Charles was one of 8 children born to this couple including Samuel H.; Charles B.; James P.; Joseph E.; Anna Maud; William E.; Matthew Drennen; and Don Carlos CRAIGHEAD, all born between 1859 and 1881. Charles Sr. died on 27 Aug 1887 and is buried in the Elizabeth Cemetery in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania.
