She had siblings Friedrich Christop Heinrich Kensing, Heinrich Friedrich Ludwig Kensing, Dorothe Friederike Kensing, and Heinrich Friedrich Karl Kensing. Christine Braeutigam died at age 92 years old on October 18, 1924 in Texas United States, and was buried at Der Stadt Friedhof Cemetery in Fredericksburg.
