  • Introduction

Clara, my mother, was a kind, quiet woman who helped many in Bisbee, Arizona without talking about it, or expecting accolades. Never the gossip, she was trusted and trustworthy in every sense on the word. Growing up in Nogales, AZ, Clara spoke, read and wrote beautiful Spanish. Politically progressive, Clara raised her children free of prejudices, and for this I am ever grateful. Clara married John Pintek, 1914-2010, in 1945. Moving to Bisbee with John, she worked along side of him in his law practice, for over 30 years. Clara had two children, John F Pintek, 1946- , and Cathleen Pintek Becskehazy, 1949 -.
